When shopping with S&A Builders Merchants Limited, we will ask you to enter your delivery postcode in order to display prices and stock that are relevant to you. On this page, you will be able to see if one of our branches currently offers online delivery in your area, you may be prompted to change branch if they do not. Should neither of our branches offer online delivery in your area, please contact your local branch by telephone as we may be able to discuss alternative options with you.
Most of our deliveries will be fulfilled by your chosen branch and their own fleet, which could include wagons with cranes, flatbeds or smaller transit-style vans. Should you have any specific access requirements or instructions, please discuss these with your branch upon placing your order.
Delivery charges vary, depending on the item(s) ordered. These choices and charges will be clearly shown at checkout e.g. Next Day Delivery, Saturday Delivery etc.
Local Deliveries (goods delivered on our own vehicles). We are proud to offer free local delivery to our customers for orders over £100. For orders under £100, there will be a charge of £10 including VAT. For all other deliveries, costs will be calculated at checkout. If your order has been shipped on a pallet e.g. boilers or cement mixers, there may be a redelivery charge if you are not available during your arranged delivery.
A combination of items in the basket may result in a combination of delivery charges. Once you have placed your order, your delivering branch will contact you to discuss a suitable delivery date and time. If you need to make any adjustments to your order, it can be done at this stage.
Deliveries direct from our suppliers
At S&A Builders Merchants Ltd, certain products in our range are delivered directly to you by some of our trusted suppliers. When purchasing one of these products, you will see our suppliers name, delivery lead time and delivery cost displayed on the product page. These delivery costs will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. If you have any questions, please contact your local branch.
Point of Delivery

If you are working from within a building site, our friendly drivers will do their best to get your items as close to where you need them as possible, but they will be restricted by the access available due to the size of our vehicles.
Collection
At S&A Builders Merchants Ltd we also offer collection from our branches and this can be selected from the checkout. Once your order has been placed, your selected branch will contact you to confirm when your items are ready for collection. Please do not travel to collect your order until confirmation has been received.
